Contrary to common belief, myself included, – labor Day is not the official end of summer. The Autumnal Equinox, which is on or near September 22nd is.

It just passed.

Personally I welcome the new colors of trees and crisp air. It signals it’s time for a change again.

The reason I point this out though, is that it seems like just yesterday, literally, we where talking of New Years Resolutions and planning new fitness goals. My how time flies.

As the chillier weather approaches it is easy to lapse into inactivity and resort to munching on fattier, tastier comfort foods. Nay I say. Many people forget that motivation that got them so psyched at the beginning of the year.

I hear people say often, “I’m so busy in the fall with the holidays and all”. But weren’t we busy all year with planning summer vacations and keeping up with the Kardashians?

Keeping up

Physical Fitness means different things to different people, however I believe one thing to be true, regular activity and exercise is not “seasonal”. Proper nutrition isn’t either. Just because summer is done doesn’t mean we need to fall of the well-being wagon, cancel the gym membership and call it a day.

In fact, it is exercise that will help you get through those hectic months a more stronger, healthier, and happier individual.

Turn your clocks back…..not your health!
